Yeah, I saw a picture of that too, while Googling. I can't believe rabbits can grow to this size.

Who's Harvey? A white rabbit, six feet tall. Six feet? Six feet three and a half inches. Now let's stick to the facts. |

I love rabbits and bunnies! I would love to have a big one like that. How cool would that be? I also like the little dwarf ones. |

I know wouldn't it be fun to have a big one and then two or three little ones?? A little family of bunnies I hear they make great pets. My husband thinks he's allergic, but I really think he's allergic to the chips they use as bedding. |

You'd better have a LOT of carrots handy!

whilst i and neil arent adverse to carrots, it appears giant bunnies dont only rely on these:
quote: Maintaining a healthy diet is very important, as once over weight problems with dirty bottoms, joints and hearts become more of a problem than in a smaller bunny. The diet should be the same as smaller bunnies, but the addition of a vitamin supplement may be advisable to help ward off joint problems later. The hay is the main thing, and a diet rich in calcium. You should aim to feed a pile of hay at least equivalent to the body size of the rabbit twice daily. The chewing action of long hay (not the sort available in plastic bags in pet shops) is essential for healthy teeth. A complete pellet food and not a "complimentary" food should be given to provide a full balanced diet, along with vegetables, 'greens' and ReadiGrass. Spillers ReadiGrass is good for the larger breeds diet as it has high protein content and helps reduce the rabbit size health problems later on.

Those rabbits are kind of scary. You could make a wicked horror movie about oversized bunnies. |

all my bunny ate when she was pregnant was curly Kale, so we had to basically hide the cereal in the leaves-i think they cant digest it or something....oh and the guy who voiced bugs bunny was allergic to carrots-i know everyone knows that but i thought id share.
Oh and Johnny Yen, have you seen that giant bunny film? it looks fantastic! There is also one about killer shrews (but they've just stuck big mouse ears on dogs, its brilliant) |

The same place as the one about mice being especially fond of cheese?
There's a Young Fresh Fellows song that mentions "The Killer Shrews." I can't say I've ever seen it.

Genetically modified bunnies?
Cool with me as long as they grow them big enough that I can ride one to work. <boing> We're there!

To me rabbits are grown up bunnies. Since I've seen those pics I am dying to get one. I think 115 lbs would be too much maybe 30 or 50. But I to like the idea of a little family of bunnies running around.
I want to be able to lift it without throwing my back out.
I know you can train them so they can hang out in your house (even potty train them) but they go through tons of lettuce. |
