The Libertines? You think so?
I haven't been exposed to a lot of hype about their music, lifestile, personal likes/dislikes, etc., so I can't really tell whether they are a big joke as a band/individuals/marketing product.
But I have the album. And that's really good in my opinion. No joke at all. |

The Strokes, they're good for real (their next single is excellent).
The next big joke it's Franz Ferdinand and Bloc Party.

The Northern Pikes were hyped to be the next Beatles.
They had a come back tour recently. At least they don't totally suck. |
