The Northern Pikes were hyped to be the next Beatles.

They had a come back tour recently. At least they don't totally suck.

The Libertines? You think so?
I haven't been exposed to a lot of hype about their music, lifestile, personal likes/dislikes, etc., so I can't really tell whether they are a big joke as a band/individuals/marketing product.
But I have the album. And that's really good in my opinion. No joke at all.
