I am gonna listen to that RIGHT NOW. Damn, darwin, damn.
I once had breakfast with them after a gig, at Denny's at 3 in the morning. They bitched about the Circle Jerks the whole time. It was surreal and fun.

Honorable mention goes to: North American Hallowe'en Prevention, Inc. (they would rank higher if they put out more than one song)

Posted - 08/31/2005 : 07:41:03 I like a lot of M bands and artists, but apparently not that many N ones. The only one I can think of offhand is the aforementioned New Pornographers. They're a great band, though, so I'll say they're my favorite.

Posted - 08/26/2005 : 02:01:37 What do I have... NuYorican Soul, excellent but I wouldn't count it as a band, it's a side project of the Masters At Work. Nortec Collective, great techno artists from Tijuana. Joanna Newsom is great too. But my vote goes to
Willie Nelson
