lots of N's in my collection. ned's atomic dustbin, nirvana, new fast automatic daffodils, nofx, nine inch nails, neurotic outsicers, new order, NWA, no use for a name, nova mob, new york dolls, ac newman......

What do I have... NuYorican Soul, excellent but I wouldn't count it as a band, it's a side project of the Masters At Work. Nortec Collective, great techno artists from Tijuana. Joanna Newsom is great too. But my vote goes to

I like a lot of M bands and artists, but apparently not that many N ones. The only one I can think of offhand is the aforementioned New Pornographers. They're a great band, though, so I'll say they're my favorite.

I once had breakfast with them after a gig, at Denny's at 3 in the morning. They bitched about the Circle Jerks the whole time. It was surreal and fun.
