You should have gotten him to post to this thread!

I was all out of luck, like a duck that died. I was all out of juice, like a moose denied.

Actually, I did! I scoped out the cutest guy near me and asked him his opinion.
And, god bless him, he obliged. Arhghghg.

But you didn't ask for advice before you bought them! Isn't that what this thread is FOR?

I have added several new clothing items to my wardrobe, compliments

I dress for myself.

Surely you're dressing at least partially for society, right? I mean, clothes are typically designed to be looked at by other people. During the summer, I think some people wouldn't wear clothes at all if it weren't societally expected.

I live in a country where it rains throughout summer and men wear socks with their sandals.

If you have a cold Kathryn, maybe you should be posting in the self pity thread.

Mr Wilkins - though he'd be a more than welcome addition to the stable.

edit: and if I can just clarify for anyone who may be confused this would be my imaginary stable that exists in my head. I am in fact a very well behaved person.
kathryn Posted - 06/12/2005 : 10:28:01
Is that Mr. Wilkins or another of your boytoys?

As do I - my own amusement is so much more important to me than anyone elses. I do find it slightly disturbing that that is now the norm.

And if by "man arms" you mean muscular - then I'd be showing them off as much as possible.

kathryn Posted - 06/11/2005 : 12:38:06
I should. Only someone with man arms or another bodily defect could.

floop Posted - 06/11/2005 : 12:37:09
you should start an 'unsavory bodily defects' thread
kathryn Posted - 06/11/2005 : 12:34:50
Thanks for remembering about that!

Seriously, it's a problem. I really do have man arms:

Do you like my new gold chain though?

I have no idea why, I'm about to sit down to listen to a (American Rugby) football game, a pre-season game, in the Canadian Football League! I obviously have no control over these things.

Hammerhands, are you recommending that we should start bashing heads with our loved ones?

Never mind the food - Kathryn in answer to your post in the what's on your mind thread - I'd personally be worried about the heels on those shoes not being high enough.

Good question, Surfer, thank you. I worry about the sleeves being too short.
That really bothers me for some reason.

I'm more interested in what she's eating. Is that a donut, or what?

Junk food is probably the most fun thing to shop for, at least for me. That and CDs, but those cost a lot more.

Holy crap they do a high heel!

Was about to post the same pic. That money is as good as spent.

would gump wear bronze heels? would he?

Surfer Rosa Posted - 06/10/2005 : 15:36:25
That is a valid point - I can see where you are coming from. I will have to try them on to decide. And yet again - this is why this thread is a very good thing.
