Actually I thought the "canard a l'orange" was pretty well-known in the USA. It is in Mexico at least.

Duck is good - I do a killer marsala roast duck stuffed with sage and mashed potato - perfect winter food

I never had pidgeon, but I was surprised also because it's very common to eat duck here, in fact we have a traditional dish made with duck.

I never mean to drink the wild turkey, but ....

Quail tastes great. My parents have a small barnyard so we have a lot of duck, quail, pidgeon, pheasant, turkey and chicken when we go to their's. Raised in the open air, fed with natural products, guaranteed hormone-free... And you can even hang the pidgeons yourself!

Duck is great,
never knowingly had pigeon though.
Capon is nice
Goose is good
Turkey is terrible
Chicken is also good

thats all I got off the top of my head

I think I did too in China... I don't remember really anything about the taste... but now it makes sick to my stomach.

There's a bird made of tofu? Is it the elusive wild tofurkey?

When I was 13 I had frog's legs....tasted like chicken...does that count?

Strangely when I was 14 I became a vegetarian.

In South Africa you get a rather ingeniously named dish called the "walkie talkie" which is essentially made up of chicken feet and heads

I have a stuffed guinea fowl in my freezer that I'm looking for an excuse to cook

duck is nasty, i can't do duck. but if i cut chicken out of my diet i'd probably die of malnutrition.

(You asked for this)

I had tofu many times. Each more delicious than the last.

P.S. I don't eat no chateaubriand.

I really didn't want to eat any of those Kentucky Fried Chickens, but thier crispy coating was irresistable. I am still wracked with guilt, and regret every single one.
