I am sure we have all had pigeon at some point without realising. I am sure it tasted like chicken too.

I really didn't want to eat any of those Kentucky Fried Chickens, but thier crispy coating was irresistable. I am still wracked with guilt, and regret every single one. |

(You asked for this)
I had tofu many times. Each more delicious than the last.
P.S. I don't eat no chateaubriand.

In South Africa you get a rather ingeniously named dish called the "walkie talkie" which is essentially made up of chicken feet and heads
I have a stuffed guinea fowl in my freezer that I'm looking for an excuse to cook

When I was 13 I had frog's legs....tasted like chicken...does that count?
Strangely when I was 14 I became a vegetarian. |

I think I did too in China... I don't remember really anything about the taste... but now it makes sick to my stomach. |

Quail tastes great. My parents have a small barnyard so we have a lot of duck, quail, pidgeon, pheasant, turkey and chicken when we go to their's. Raised in the open air, fed with natural products, guaranteed hormone-free... And you can even hang the pidgeons yourself!

I never had pidgeon, but I was surprised also because it's very common to eat duck here, in fact we have a traditional dish made with duck.

Actually I thought the "canard a l'orange" was pretty well-known in the USA. It is in Mexico at least.
