seems to me that we have an epidemy of compulsive post addiction which escalates day after day, so since i'm worried about the mental health of our beloved forum members i declare saturday 9 april 2005 the first post nothing day. all of us must should post absolutely nothing and possibly not even log in the forum to see if others posted or even better try to stay away from their computers for all day if they don't need it for professional reasons. then everybody could describe what they did with the time they would have spent here.
it should be relatively easy since it is saturday. take care of your garden, walk the dog, work on your car, go to the beach or your local pub do whatever just resist posting. a fisrt step to fight your addiction.

But I didn't have any of floop's breakfast tacos? Oh wait, right I see now.

Floop's breakfast tacos get you laid more - it has nothing to do with not posting here.

The only way to get rid of temptation is to yield to it.

Yeah, but then you have to settle for the kind of women who like to hang out at pubs. :P

What if your posts attract someone of the opposite gender (or the same gender, if you swing that way), and you later make plans to get together for the purposes of intercourse?

I have no evidence that this has ever happened (on THIS forum, anyway), but it COULD happen, right?

it could happen but it takes too much time. odds are that you would get more with less effort at your favourite pub.

what's wrong with fantasies? you fantasize about the beauty of posting 100 comments a day i fantasize about starting a succesful thread. and married people or people with a steady relationship don't count because they can post while their other half is taking a shower or watching tv or whatever and don't have to actually interact with new people in order to have sex.
said that go away, i was here before you.

That's hilarious -- "married people don't count".
I know what you mean, and I agree, but it's still
a funny thing to read, being married and all.
I'm glad you think that your experiment was
a success. I humbly disagree but I am happy for you.
In your little fantasy world.....(kidding, kidding)

married people don't count. with this in mind it's correct

sorry to say, but it's a fact that mun's "c" ("people who post less get laid more") is totally wrong.

i volunteer tho' i'm not that usefull as a guinea pig since i gladly abbandon every activity when it gets to sex.

i know people who don't know about this forum and don't get laid much..

but you could be right. i think we should do a longer experiment though.. try two weeks. we'll hand pick a few forum members, and then have them report back after 2 weeks and see if their sex lives increased or not.

any takers?

know what i'm sayin' dawg?
mun chien andalusia Posted - 04/10/2005 : 18:22:22
nop. non posting much=get laid more. that's science, the rest is theory. in fact i know a lot of people that don't post here at all (actually they haven't ever heard of this forum and many of them don't even know what an internet forum is) and get laid a lot. ergo posting isn't important to get laid. on the contrary there is evidence of the contrary.

i bash newbies for a living
floop Posted - 04/10/2005 : 18:14:24
does that mean that, inversely, vovat is more likely to get laid for posting on non-post day?

people who registered just to leach the ftp don't count. basically this forum is populated by 50-100 people who post more or less regularly. so if you consider the total posts of people who didn't post in the post nothing day (with the clamorous examples of floop and HPM just to mention a couple) against those who actually posted you will understand that
a) posting a lot is mainstream attitude among regulars
b) the post nothing day was a success
c) people who post less get laid more

and that's a scientific fact

Yeah I am serious this time floop flop!

We didn't have sex (her brother was in the other room), but we kissed and cuddled and all that jazz. It was a nice way to end an evening of much alcohol and belly laughs.

I posted and I had sex. That's how it works.

(Way to go, Homers! Maybe it's the new forum name that
got you laid, not the no-posting!)
