I thought that it would be nice if we all could post something about our days, something that we thought it was funny, curious, at the work, on the way home or at home with our family...
As it's still morning here, nothing special happened yet, but later I'll see something...

I got a mix CD today. Not from Brian, but then, I wasn't expecting one from him.

The bleeding has subsided and the pain diminished from my stabbing ordeal. *See worst part of my day thread for further details and explanation*
May have found a soulmate as well!

My day doesn't have a highlight because my mailbox did not
have a CD from Brian.

while sitting at a stop light, i watched these two amateur city workers in one of of those cranes that lift you up in a little bucket (you know what i'm talking about? for getting up to telephone wires and stuff??) and they obviously couldn't figure out how to work it because they kept tilting the bucket and almost spilling themselves out .

which was funny.

even though it wouldn't have been funny if they actually fell.

though sort of.

The highlight of my day is that my friend told me a story about when he met
the Clash. Joe Strummer was autographic dollar bills and my friend asked
him whether that conflicted with his punk values and Joe Strummer told him
"I don't sign anything higher than a $5 bill." This made me smile and made
me feel happy. RIP, Joe!

Having my PC restored to it's former glory, thanks to good old 'System Restore'.

Yesterday it was meeting my Italian singer/guitarist again and finding her to be a really lovely girl. That and seeing my boys Nine Black Alps play again. I really think that they could be big, especially in America. Perhaps the fact that they signed to a small indie label, and are so staunchly 'underground' will mean that they won't though.

Listening to Honeycomb while I was with some boring customers, and thinking about how much I love to listen to the Man...

The lowpoint of my day is that this morning I was in
the woods in 20 below temps (F) and the wind started
whipping and suddenly I feared for my life, no joke, it was
so cold. Moral: don't trust the sunshine, it can be deceiving.

The highlight of my day was probably getting the lunch buffet at Pizza Hut. There was too little there in the way of pan pizza, though. I'm not so fond of the thin crust stuff.

Was that the highlight of you day, KOK, or the lowpoint?

I think we should either turn this into (sorry, Rita!)
"what is the shittiest part of your day so far" thread
or start a separate thread by that name.

So far today, the highlight is listening to a boot sent
to me by a ravishing forum member who sat next to
The Man between the Hammerstein shows, and that
is all I will say about that lovely person! Thank you!

kathryn hates me the realization of this is the low-point of my day.

the highlight was talking to this guy who had this bitchin' vintage 60's porsche, and having false hopes that i could afford one myself.

TarTar! It is a thrill to see you posting!

How right you are and what a Freudian slip.

But Floop is still quoting the wrong movie. It's
CATHOLIC SCHOOL GIRLS GONE BAD VII not
CATHOLIC SCHOOL GIRLS GONE BAD IV.

I played football for the first time in about a month, and I needed it after spending my retirement at home. I did OK considering, not really that tired at all.

I am doing a 10K run in May though, now THAT is gonna tire me.

coming up with part of a Frank Blackish type tune on the way to work.

In our invincible youth
we are like pieces of meat

Get through the music
get on with the cool
we don't want the truth.

I've got your alligator
I saw you standing in line
I know you're a real
cool
