Posted - 08/19/2007 : 23:09:14 There's gotta be somebody that knows the tab/chords for this song. I know the intro is C G F and I think the next part is just F and E, but can anybody post the rest? Much obliged... |

Posted - 11/03/2007 : 04:20:10 Hehe, I often forget a lot people here aren't from the US and probably not seen the movie Super Troopers. But now I think about it it does remind me of Pistolero :P

Posted - 11/01/2007 : 10:33:43 i'm gonna give it another shot. there's a chord in there i'm not sure about, but check back whenever and we might have an outro with oooos.
Do you want the "ooohs" tabbed too?
quote: Why would he say meow? Does Black francis look like a cat? All... Jumpin nimbly-bimbly from tree to tree? Does he lick milk from a saucer? DO YOU SEE HIM EATING MICE?
it was my nod to pistolero.

Bahaha, Super Troopers references are the cool thing to do.
Now the cd's out I get to hear it.... oooooh this is the highlight of the cd methinks. The chords are very hard to coordinate with the singing in it with so many pauses, but fbc seems to have done good work once again :P

Posted - 08/26/2007 : 02:13:48 Could well be, I dispute not. Just that I hear an F note on the high E string which could possibly be a note still resounding round my brain from the July gig. |

During the first sequence of these chords, he hesitates just after the A. Is that just a G#, too?

Posted - 08/24/2007 : 16:09:54 cheers, Carl. it was fun to work out. again, like with so much of C.T's work, it's all in the strumming. |

Posted - 08/24/2007 : 11:14:30 Nice, Iwas strumming this earlier and I tried out the "fucking good" part. Sounds great, S!

Posted - 08/24/2007 : 09:19:45 Oh yeah, definately. I have a much deeper appreciation for the song since tabbing it.
And amongst all these posts, I think we've pretty much nailed it. |

Posted - 08/24/2007 : 02:45:38 Sounding fine.
It's one of those songs that I like much more when learning to play it, than on inital hearing. |

Posted - 08/22/2007 : 04:59:36 this is how I play the "he plays piano..." part
I play the basic pattern Am Em Dm this way : Am Aadd4 Am Aadd4 / Em Eadd4 Em Eadd4 / Dm Dadd4 Dm Dadd4
this allow you (as there is only 1 guitar playing) to have at the same time the nice "strumming effect" of the basic pattern Am Em Dm and the nice riff :
e --------------------1-3-1-3
b -1-3-1-3----------------
g -----------0-2-0-2--------
AND it's very easy to play |
