Posted - 05/01/2006 : 13:58:55 Does anyone know if there are any official TAB books available? Like the ones by Hal Leonard or something which claim to be the official recorded versions. I was thinking maybe that the Wave of Mutilation greatest hits might since it's pretty new?

Posted - 04/18/2007 : 11:19:25 It says Piano Vocal Guitar. In my experience, I don't think it will be tab. I bet it will all musical notes with the chords on top. That's what the other Pixies guitar books were. No solos, riffs, etc. |

I think I had my hands on the Bossanova one, I was considering buying it for the center-of-the-book picture, I recall that was pretty great.
I still have the mini-poster that came with the Doolittle one, I use to have it on my bedroom wall.
i had that one too, from the Doolittle book. like an idiot i put on the outside of my door in the college dorm and someone stole it.
i think it was that one Chinese guy.

Hmmm, funny. Okay, there's some synth on there, but it's still a guitar-heavy album.
That neckchain thing...what's with the radiator? (Lady In The Radiator Song?!)

Amazon has all sorts of strange stuff but no tab books.

Strange, I didn't know there was a Bossanova book-I just checked out Alec Eiffel for the above pic, and lo and behold, I find this:
It's a weird coincidence, because I often check out that site, and it hasn't been updated in years!

Posted - 05/03/2006 : 07:04:18 Is there actually any point to those books? Surely most of the tabs are online somewhere.

These books have either really good or really poor notes, does anyone have any pictures or text to share? |

Posted - 05/02/2006 : 14:05:15 There is a Bossanova songbook, guitar piano and vocal. Like these ones. They are pretty hard to find. Good luck. |

Posted - 05/02/2006 : 08:42:02 Hmmm.. so they exist, so the inevitable follow up question: where can I get one? I can play most of them but for music at my school your only allowed to play something that you have official notation for, so if I'm going to do something next year I'll need one, although they're probably far too easy, good to have anyway.
Yeh I've looked on the net and can't find any anywhere, any ideas?
