alot of chords yes but the key is where they're being played. Different chords but in the same fret (if you know what I mean)so not much movement on the fretboard as you'd imagine.

Posted - 05/13/2005 : 01:59:40 Come to think of it, isn't this whole part also the opening bassline? I think that a lot of its appeal has to do with the chords he uses. I really like the WAY he plays it though, with the mutes and the stops after AAD. Seems like a lot of chords to play so quickly, but maybe it isn't; I gave up on guitar relatively quickly. I have a version of this on the "pixies at the BBC" disc, I like the disc as a whole and DEAD really rocks on it, but they omit the bridge! |
