Hi everyone,
It would be really cool if you could tune in for my radio show that I am going to have on Sunday June 3rd. It's on KFAI radio station in MPLS/St. Paul. If you live in the cities, you know where to find it.
If you live anywhere else in the world you can access it online. http://www.kfai.org/ and click on the "on air now" icon on the top left portion of the screen.
Let me know your set list ideas. The theme of the show is "Frank Black/Black Francis rock and roll legend."
Since the last show I did about a year and a half ago was a lot of stuff off of Honeycomb, SMYT and BLD the show is mostly going to be about releases starting with FMRM. However, I am focusing on songs in the Bluefinger Bundle (tbd) and some of the tracks off of the Best Of.
The other thing is I have got to fit in one Pixies song because my sound engineer is a huge Pixies fan. Also, I only have an hour to fit everything in!
So let me know your ideas...thank you.
(I am planning on giving "shout outs" so make sure you post!)

Audacity. It's available as a free download. Just search 'audacity'. That's how I made those mp3s off blackfrancis.net

I've just listened to the show. Good to get FB's music out there - with any luck someone somewhere will have heard his music for the first time and will be hot footing to the record store as I type.
Not sure I'd have the balls to do a live radio show. I'm a shy retiring kind of guy.

Thanks guys! Yes it was tough narrowing it down. Trying to go with the theme of reverse chronological order and using songs that are appearing on the "best of" helped.
I wish the sound engineering would have gone a little more smoothly but it was fun doing a show about the man's music.

I feel like a shitty forum member. I didn't listen. But it was my youngest son's fifth birthday party, and I couldn't get away. Sounds like it was a good time. I'm still dying to hear Daisy Girl's voice!
Why's it take two weeks to get the show up on the archives, K?
EDIT: I just realized I misread what you wrote. It'll be up FOR two weeks, not IN two weeks. Some people can be oh so dense.
