Hi everyone,
It would be really cool if you could tune in for my radio show that I am going to have on Sunday June 3rd. It's on KFAI radio station in MPLS/St. Paul. If you live in the cities, you know where to find it.
If you live anywhere else in the world you can access it online. http://www.kfai.org/ and click on the "on air now" icon on the top left portion of the screen.
Let me know your set list ideas. The theme of the show is "Frank Black/Black Francis rock and roll legend."
Since the last show I did about a year and a half ago was a lot of stuff off of Honeycomb, SMYT and BLD the show is mostly going to be about releases starting with FMRM. However, I am focusing on songs in the Bluefinger Bundle (tbd) and some of the tracks off of the Best Of.
The other thing is I have got to fit in one Pixies song because my sound engineer is a huge Pixies fan. Also, I only have an hour to fit everything in!
So let me know your ideas...thank you.
(I am planning on giving "shout outs" so make sure you post!)

When The Paint Grows Darker Still. Angels Come To Comfort You (although perhaps Threshold might be a better choice, since it's the only Bluefinger track that has so far got an official release. Or maybe Frank wouldn't mind?!). |

For a Pixies number pick a two minute dittie. More bang for your buck. Your Mouth Into Mine is the key song on Bluefinger for me. And from the 'Best Of' you can't really go wrong. Just pick one at random. I'll tune in but a reminder the day before would be useful.

Thanks guys for your help!! Great suggestions. I think for Bluefinger, I am just going to play from the bundle...
Also to make it clear, I am only going to play "best of" songs that are only on the "Best of" track list.

That would be cool but how would I get a copy to play on the radio?
Also I would LOVE to get my hands on that new song on the site. It rocks.
BTW I didn't know that blackfrancis.net was up and running. Pretty cool.

AH-HA!! I was listening to KFAI yesterday morning in all its jazzy goodness, then all of a sudden I hear an advert for something Frank Blackish, and I hardly had time to catch what it was. I was going nuts trying to figure it out!!! I'll sleep better tonight.

Trobrianders thanks I will... I am hoping if my computer can do it I can chat live here while the songs are playing. Last show I did we were able to do it so that was really cool.
