I liked the vegas game and tried the first ghost and couldn't get through the training and hated it.

Is it only two songs?

Here's the info on the tracks:

Gimme Danger:
Frank Black - vocals
Raymond Herrera - drums
Russell Ali - guitars
Laddie Ervin - bass

Gimme Danger nu Grungeopolis Mix
Frank Black - vocals
Raymond Herrera - drums
Jeremy Blair - guitar
Laddie Ervin - guitar, bass

both songs:
Recorded at Temple Studios, Chatsworth, CA.
co-produced by Jeremy Blair and 3volution Productions
Engineered by Jeremy Blair
Mastered by Laddie Ervin

Some more trivia:
The original track was recorded in sync with the original Iggy and the Stooges track from Raw Power so the timing speeds up and slows down throughout the song. This was to capture some of the spirit and energy of the original track. The song appears in Ubisoft's game: Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 and in a marketing video for the game.

the nu Grungeopolis mix is a complete re-record of everything except the vocal track. It was recorded in sync with a click track to have a more modern sound and feel. It was originally intended to appear in the credits of Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2.

There are two remixes which were just completed and, if approved by the publishing rights holders and Charles, will be released in the near future. These are techno/dance remixes and quite a departure from the original tracks so we have no idea if they will be approved (or if die-hard fans will like them).

Charles autographed three guitars while at the studio which are being used to promote the game in Europe. He signed one “Frank Black” one “Black Francis” and one “Frank Black Francis.”

He also participated in a sit-down interview which was shot in hi-definition. The footage has surfaced on TV, mostly in Europe, and there is a portion of his interview on on10.net:
http://www.on10.net/Blogs/tina/frank-black-from-the-pixies-sits-down-with-channel-10/

This is part of a longer making-of video that we expect to be released eventually.

Here you go:

FEAR FACTORY Drummer Records IGGY AND THE STOOGES Cover - Feb. 5, 2007

FEAR FACTORY's Raymond Herrera has laid down the drums tracks for a cover version of the IGGY AND THE STOOGES classic "Gimme Danger", which is being released for the Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 game on PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. The song, which also features the PIXIES frontman Frank Black, can be heard at this location.

Herrera has a company called 3volution Productions that produces music, sound effects and voice-overs for video game, television and film. He is also the co-owner of the record label Kool Arrow Records.

Not sure who is playing Bass and Lead Guitar.

I purchased both versions last night and they are both awesome. His voice sounds fantastic on these tracks. This is the most aggressive FB has been in quite some time. I think he screams more on Gimme Danger than all of Bluefinger combined.

Gimme Danger and Gimme Danger Nu Grungeopolis mix by "Frank Black and 3volution" are now available on iTunes. We have verified they are available in the U.S., UK and Australia. Other online services should have the song this week as well.

The fastest way to find the tracks seems to be to search for 3volution.

Hi I am new to this forum, I was just wondering some sites are saying this song has been distributed to several online dealers such as Itunes etc, I've searched everywhere and can't find this song. Can someone point me in its general direction?

The track has been flagged for release in all territories so we anticipate it will be available worldwide. If, once it is available in the USA, we find it is not available elsewhere, we will work with our distributor to correct the problem.

Due to circumstances beyond our control the tracks have not yet posted to the digital music services. We have been assured they are a priority and will be posted as soon as possible; though this could take up to 10 days.

I apologize for the delay and can assure you that as both a co-producer of the tracks and long-time fan of Charles I want nothing more than to have this music available to you for download.

I will update you when I receive more information. I'm very sorry the tracks are not available at this time.

Regards,
Laddie Ervin
