If it isn't, it is not my doing. So don't hold me responsible. I'm voting to put it on every time.

best,
Jon Tiven

I remember when myself and some other forumer (can't remember who) were asking specifically why Highway to Lowdown wasn't on Honeycomb Tiven said it'd be on this next one.
VoVat Posted - 10/13/2005 : 11:19:03
Well, that way it's less likely to be confused with "All Over The World."

Looks like All Around The World is actually called Been All Around The World.

Frank could just put out a sheet of paper with these titles on it in lieu of the album and it would be the greatest thing ever. I so cannot wait for this...

Wasn't it mentioned Reid Paley co-wrote more than one track? I guess we await their names.

"Sometimes mellow can be more rocking"-from the Pixies B Sides sleevenotes.

Didn't Frank mention once in an interview (or somewhere here) he regards a song like Sir Rockabye as one of his more rocking songs?

(he could have said a different song, i forget, but the one he mentioned doesn't "rock" as some know it)

Worry less.

I recall Signor Tiven mentioning that ALL the Honeycomb out-takes would see the light of the day. Probably on Nashville 2.0 [if it's long] or Nashville III, or on something else...

...and is not on the songs he mentions
no other hc-outtakes beside all around the world
which is a retake if I read correctly
I'm glad I got the leaked version more than a year ago
definately subpar next to the released honeycomb
but man, what if these songs will never surface?
(think of the time untill oddballs 3!)

Highway to Lowdown is so good, that it should be a single

'Where the wind is blowing' isn't mentioned. I hope it makes the cut, though. When listening to the Honeycomb session demo, the song always seems to 'ask' for a more rocking treatment.
"I think you think it's a witch/well, she will be scratching my itch/she will be brushing my hyde" - this phrase alone, is deserving enough to be part of a Frank Black album.

FB performed 'All Around the World' with the Pixies in Newport (which I wasn't aware of when I purchased the show) and I'm not ashamed to say that it's one of my favorite tracks.

My thoughts exactly. I wouldn't call All Around The World a rocking song. In fact it's the one I like least from the Honeycomb leftovers. God I hope Kiss My Ring will be on the album.

James Taylor? C'mon man, I thought this thing was supposed to rock!

Interesting names of songs! I always try to tell if I can imagine what they'll sound like by looking at the title. Prior to the release of DITS i thought Llano Del Rio was going to be a Los Lobos/Tito & Tarantula romp! I dont know wy I thought that!! Anybody else do this?

Thank y'kindly, dmm.
