Hey all -
First time poster, but thought I would share this with anyone who was interested. All I have to say is it sounds like Boston will be treated very well towards the end of the year.

Eh, Worchester is far. Although, I travelled to the UK for the Catholics - I guess it is all in our perception of things and how much we give a damn.

You're right, Lowell is not that far out of the city, but it is not Boston either.

cc has a hand in the Roxy, at least w/ ticket sales, although i do not know how far or strong its reach is there.

After looking at the amherst topic, I checked the pixies tour date listing... and it looks like dec. 1st and 2nd at tsongas.

Well, the rumored places I guess were the Roxy in Boston and the Paladium in Worcester for some shows? I don't believe either of those are clear channel, but to be honest I don't know. All other venues in Boston are going to be clear channel (wang, orpheum, avalon, paradise, etc...) |

imo they will end up playing shows at cc venues, because if they want to play inside Boston they have no other reasonable choice.

last time i checked, the merrimac valley and the pioneer valley are not in BOSTON!
if you are not interested in travel for these shows wait they will add Boston proper dates.

Kind of a weird title for an article which only really talks about shows in Amherst and Lowell, they are really making us wait for it, apparently.
