Wow, they sound really different. This gives me another reason to look forward to the Portland show! I feel motivated now to take care of my train reservations, etc. this morning. Thanks! |

Never seen them live myself but always heard very good things about them. Actually Brysonmeunier you're spot on with your description there.

The Bellrays are fucking awesome. Imagine Ike-era Tina Turner fronting the MC5 and you're close. Wouldn't think of them as a good fit with the Pixies, but stranger things have happened. Frank at his best is as much old soul Levi Stubbs as he is a singer like Lou Reed, for example.
