sadly i did not manage to see the pixies last year and am hoping to see them if they play reading festival (or anywhere else in the U.K)this year. from what i've heard they only played songs from doolittle, surfer rosa and c'mon pilgrim. if this is true i was wondering if anyone knows why they did not play anything from bossanova or trompe le monde which i consider to be their two best albums

check this out:

it's a discussion on the songs played during the tour.

i think it was because bossa and trompe songs were more complicated than the rest, so would have needed more time of practise
plus the ones played are deemed 'crowd pleasers'.

"play the monkey song" and all that shit
