And I'm assuming Bossanova's 14 tracks are divided 7-7, as indicated on the back cover. But what about the three other albums, with an uneven number of tracks? What's the first track of side B? - for Surfer Rosa : track 7 or 8? - for Doolittle en Trompe le Monde: track 8 or 9?

Now I know after which song I can take a break, because those pixies albums are so intense, it's sometimes too much to listen to them completely. In the old vinyl days, it was indeed common practice to end the first side with a big anthem. I'm pretty sure the band itself decided how to end side A. |
