Can somebody tell me how the songs are separated on the vinyl albums? I only have Come on Pilgrim on vinyl, which 8 tracks are obviously divided 4-4. And I'm assuming Bossanova's 14 tracks are divided 7-7, as indicated on the back cover. But what about the three other albums, with an uneven number of tracks? What's the first track of side B? - for Surfer Rosa : track 7 or 8? - for Doolittle en Trompe le Monde: track 8 or 9?

Side B of Trompe Le Monde starts with Bird Dream of the Olympus Mons and it works so great. Get all the Pixies records on vinyl, geertos, it's a whole new experience.

Thank's a lot, I really appreciate this information. Now I know after which song I can take a break, because those pixies albums are so intense, it's sometimes too much to listen to them completely. In the old vinyl days, it was indeed common practice to end the first side with a big anthem. I'm pretty sure the band itself decided how to end side A. |
