by taking a line or two from a song and using it as an album title?

it seems to me that rosa and doolittle were definitely titled that way

and 2 bands i can think of off the top of my head did it, both pixies influenced

nirvana "nevermind"
nada surf "let go"

of course it could all be coincidence though, i mean the titling process

Take a "normal" album title and rename it according to the principle of this thread.

For example Trompe Le Monde - Planet of Glass (lyric from Planet of Sound)

Not many of these. Most are probably compilations and they shouldn't count.

Julian Cope - World Shut Your Mouth 1984, song is on Saint Julian 1987

I agree. It's best when it's a word or phrase that's only mentioned once on the entire album.

Still looking for an example older than '69 (Hot Rats and Willie & the Poor Boys). Someone mentioned the V.U. album but that cannot count cos there is a track on it called "White Light/White Heat".

I really don't like this period of Wire and don't plan on listening to that song again.
