He's playing for some new kids on the block now

No more time for the faithful servants who followed him in his quest, when the weather was sunny but also when the weather was stormy, through the wind and the snow and the rain.

We used to learn every single master's word by heart - I even started eating salade lyonnaise

But there are no words any more, just the official record label white noise

Master! Master! Why have you abandoned us?

Have some wine, please, don't run away.

How did you get an interview with Frank's therapist?

Now if I can get Danny Elfman to reunite with Oingo Boingo, my life will be complete.

Frank Black is a superhero who can woo women with a chord and melt lead with an affected gaze. He can lift an 80-story building with his left hand while playing guitar solos with his right. The Pope calls him for advice. He invented the robot and the Tunnel of Love. Jesus asked him to join his band. He discovered the secrets of alchemy. He invented Cheet-ohs and malt liquor and French fries.

Whatever. Just keep making music, man!

wow. comic books and underwear. what a topic. enough said.
GypsyDeath Posted - 03/11/2004 : 10:22:03
Talking of spider man, I bought to comics tday, one from 1979, and one from 1980. Ones spidey, and one the hulk. they are great.

And i think people who get upset over silly things on the forum are the ones more likely to be wearing star wars underwear.

Purlease, we wear 2001:space... underwear. Obviously.

Watch it. Mommy told me that big boys who wear Star Wars undies and touch the no-no place when looking at her fashion mags are SPECIAL. That's right...SPECIAL. So that means you too.

You made a mistake, Woodworm. I wear exclusively Walt Disney underwear, and I jerk off to the Financial Times. Don't worry, you were almost right.

Yeah, "underoos" were great. I had spiderman "underoos" and really felt like I was a superhero when I was wearing them.

I believe they were called "Underoos". It came with a T-shirt and underwear. I had Yoda "Underoos". Also, Superman ones. Although with the Superman ones, you could put the underwear over your regular pants, and you would look just like Superman!

Has it ever been spelt out to us who Puppaduck is?

There were rumours that it was Joey, and various people 'in the know' indicated that they...er, 'knew' the identity of puppaduck...

?

I'd like to add the bridge to the new version of "Frank Gone":

The song oracle started every day a new topic about one Frank Black song. The last song was Bad, Wicked World, see

Let's think positively, people. The year is still young.

The way I see it, Frank and the Catholics have put in too much time and have too much chemistry at this point to end over this. Frank's been working Scott and Dave for almost 9 years now.

And am I the only person who quietly speculated that the reason Rich Gilbert was here looking for a "Valley of Our Hope" mp3 is that he might possibly be having to relearn it soon?

Don't worry about what you don't know. We've been told very little about the future. You guys are stumbling in the dark.
VoVat Posted - 03/06/2004 : 18:00:23
I agree with you, prozacrat. Frank is a prolific guy, and I think he's quite capable of being in two bands at once. He might not be touring with the Catholics for a little while, though. None of that explains what happened to the Song Oracle, though.

Has he really abandoned us, though? Just recently he started a thread asking for thoughts on the Catholics b-sides albums. Seems like even though the Pixies are shining a bit brighter right now, he's still dedicated to dishing out the Catholics, too.

The Song Oracle has been shot by crazed Pixies fans. Or maybe by Kim. I'm not totally sure which.
