I view TLM as a rock opera. It starts w/ a record, the song reaches outer space, the alien comes to earth, and is destroy. it's really one big story, i'm assuming it was done on purpose...oui? non? |

It means that the second part of the song after the break is essentially the same as the first part of the song. They just repeated it.

I'm sure this has been brought up before, but I've always wondered what he meant in the title track when he sung "and the word are the letters of the words said, electrically played" etc. and by "this song is twice occurred" and wondered if "time to go on holiday" meant he knew the band was breaking up. I never thought of it like a rock opera (ala David Bowie's Ziggy Stardust and Diamond Dogs albums), but now I should listen to the record again in it's entirety and see if I get that feel. |
