Posted - 03/14/2006 : 18:41:56 I'm new here, but I thought I'd post this.
I went to Cafe Du Nord today at 2:00 pm in San Francisco and saw Frank. He had his hands full with acoustic guitar, music stand, and some misc. I did't say anyhing to him, guess I was in a little shock. He then went inside. I was waiting ouside for them to open the box office doors (will-Call tickets) when Frank arrives again driving a new blue Cadillac with Oregon plates. Did he actually drive from Portland? Could've been a rental i guess. Anyways, he went up to the doors I was waiting to open and they opened, 2 people said Hi Frank, Frank shook hands with everyone and seemed very friendly. I never got to meet him though, I'm shy and taken by surprise. I just thought it was cool that he just drove himself to the show, carried in his own equipment, and went in to set up. I'll post again tomorrow with my thoughts on the show. I havn't been this excited for a show for quite awhile. Should be very intimate. Nate |

Posted - 03/22/2006 : 17:50:36 Once, I thought I saw Frank going poop out in the woods behind my house.
As I crept closer, I realized it wasn't Frank Black at all. It was one of those damned dancing bears. Oh, well. Still pretty cool.
I have LeeAnn Tweeden's poop in my freezer. |

Posted - 03/16/2006 : 11:06:00 I saw him get out of a cab carrying his acoustic guitar to play an acoustic show in Central Sqaure, Cambridge, MA back in May 2003. Was pretty cool. I also saw him after the show eating a slice of pizza from Hi-Fi Pizza while carrying his guitar. I honked my horn and he waved back. Was pretty cool. |

Posted - 03/14/2006 : 21:14:50 That is awesome, would love to see a picture of him arriving in his Caddy at the gig. Or you know, to be there in person.
Welcome aboard and hope you're enjoying the show.

Posted - 03/14/2006 : 18:44:41 Nice post! Reminds me of the days of the almighty Catholics, though I am sure Frank enjoyed having others carry his equipment during the Pixies reunion tours.
