Anyway I have these so far: MENUDO & RAMONES [I heard ramona sing] DAVID BOWIE [western star] HENRY SLOANE? CHUBBY CHECKER, DESMOND DEKKER & FREDDY FENDER [I want rock & roll] DESMOND DEKKER, again [parry the wind high/low]

Things like this will result in Floop being as extinct as a Sasquatch on this here forum.
No barbs needed, thanks.

Hey BrendanT, I was just fuckin around, feeling kinda poetic, and I wrote some additional verses to Solid Gold, including an Acrostic using my ex-wife's first name, Dorian.
I had a blast doing it and I'll surely post some additional verses to Solid Gold Part II in the near future.
I don't have any information concerning Frank's version of Solid Gold Part II and I don't think it exists, but thanks for asking about my version.

Posted - 11/18/2005 : 22:18:33 Yeah, all of my favorites have been duly noted above and some others if we could expand the category to include famous people?, e.g., John Denver, John Candy, Johnny Horton, Hiram "Hank" Williams, Robert Zubrin, Robert Gunther, Captain Beefhart, Joe Harriman, William Mulholland (2 songs),...
...oh yeah, I can't forget or fail to mention, the song Frank wrote about my somewhat psychotic, past "soul mate" DORIAN
SOLID GOLD
"...it's a sin Getting so down
I'm not saying I understand Lord knows who can understand Life can be an awful plan And yours it ain't the worst
Damn, Get over it, Get on with it, Or quit fuckin wallerin in your sorrow,
Really, nevermind, just leave me alone, I'll get the fuck outta here, And don't get up out of your doldrums, No, I'll be on my way tomorrow."
