Posted - 03/03/2006 : 03:07:36 not saying that it was a rip off, even though the strumming is so similar too it makes me wonder about the subject matter... |

Posted - 03/02/2006 : 19:42:52 Oh and as for "About A Girl", yes I do. But it's just two chords anyways, and they do go quite well together. I don't think it was an intentional rip-off or anything.

Posted - 03/02/2006 : 19:36:29 I just get pissy waiting on album releases when i know they are finished. It's nothing. :)
I assure you it's just because I love Frank too much.
Or maybe it's because I just miss the Catholics. --

Posted - 03/02/2006 : 19:23:38 I'm not saying it's brilliant either (glad you're okay, IceCream), just that spunX's last x posts have been quite negative and maybe it's just a coincidence.

Posted - 03/02/2006 : 19:21:52 I actually agreed with spunX. It's clever, but not brilliant. Dean, nothing's wrong with me. |

Posted - 03/02/2006 : 19:17:08 Murryc, nope. And Sharpe 01, very interesting, didn't know that. I'm not sure that's what FB is referring to, but maybe. spunX, what's wrong with you man, you've been less than pleasant lately?

Posted - 03/30/2005 : 14:54:45 So, by that standard, would a White Letter Day be a normal one?

Posted - 03/29/2005 : 08:39:56 The romans used to mark days with white chalk on their calendars, and their unlucky days with black chalk. An unlucky day or day of ill omen later became known as a black letter day. |

Posted - 03/14/2005 : 10:50:42 oh rite now i get its the days in between special or "red" days

Posted - 03/13/2005 : 11:08:49 Exactly. It's a play on the expression "red letter day," a special day, such as the ones printed in red on calendars. It's brilliant of Frank, really.
I still believe in the excellent joy of the Catholics |

Posted - 03/13/2005 : 10:18:27 Yes, it's a play on "red letter days."

Posted - 03/13/2005 : 09:16:12 If I remember correctly... I think FB himself somewhere said that if you look at the calendar, there's black and there's red days, so BLD should mean all other days than the sundays, x-mas-holidays etc. So tomorrow should be just another LONG black letter day. And it's no a nice day: Every day I work Every day's the same The sun is going down when I get home
