If anyone knows what exactly does the Frank Black B-Sides Vol. 1 and 2 include? I believe this is a bootleg.

Thanks

Yeah, despite all our efforts, it can crap out pretty easily. Was just letting you know he'd been here. Might have some luck with a google search of the site, though.

He's been through here before, too Frog, you might be able to dig up some old posts.

Speaking of FB b-sides compilation, I recently found an interesting post at http://www.stevehoffman.tv/forums/showthread.php?t=29436

The Pixies' FRANK BLACK "B-Sides" CD compilation!

I'm working on a neat-o Frank Black compilation (or two) that will be concentrating on his great B-sides. Charles is shipping me all of his master reels and I will be going into the studio with Pixies engineer Ben Mumphrey to get this ready for release. All of the original mixes were done to analog (YES!) and this should be a blast!

Charles lives up in Portland now. His website is:

http://www.FrankBlack.net/

The Pixies are back together again and ready to tour. It must be a kick for Frank to know that his latest CD will be mastered by one of the guyz who wrote "Cecilia Ann"!

Yes, you read well -- Hoffmann confirms in another post:

Yeah, I'm a member of the Surftones. A big honor when the Pixies decided to cover our "Cecilia Ann"! That is actually a sample of me kicking my Fender amp at the beginning of the Pixies version, right from the Surftones version. Great way to "kick off" Bossanova.

Amazing, izn'it?...

This may be the best news since the end of the Pixies tour :)

well guys I mentioned where it is to cult of frank and that's where the info resides. Like I said there is no info on what it includes and if indeed it is a leaked copy. Could just be some kids own idea on a b-sides comp.
