Who wouldn't ?!? But that doesn't mean EOM is not a (very) good song. |

Even more so if it follows directly the Pale Boys version of "Is She Weird?'. |

Hay Dean & Brian,
Could an interview with Frank be on the cards for some Podcast? |

We're game but getting a hold of FB is not easy these days - he's a busy guy. We're working on it!

Yeah, that's a solid song. I like the "featuring member's songs" idea. |

Rule #8 for Podcasts....Keep 'em coming!!! Thanx guys for another great Podcast and Doog's song was excellent!!! Also, where on the website can I donate to become an FB.Net member and support the Podcasts? Also, how do you go about getting a version of Sunday Sunny Mill Valley Groove Day? I loved the cuts from that on the Podcast and I heard it was "freebie." Thanx again and 4 weeks till FMRM!!! |

Thanks, it really is nice for us to know people are enjoying it. There's another thread on this forum where people are likewise trying to get a copy of SSMVGD, but if nothing comes of it, perhaps I will host it temporarily for those interested.

Hey guys, let us know what you like best about the podcast (or let me know if there's something I missed that is your favourite feature). Check out the poll on the main page and give it a vote: http://www.frankblack.net

I had to vote for the live stuff even though the hosts are growing on me.
It's fun to listen to you guys wing the commentary. I wish the PC's were longer so we could get more FB facts and opinions out of you two without losing the spontaneous interaction that makes em fun and funny. |

You just click on subscribe and it should download the latest automatically. Then, go into podcasts on the left window and you'll see it. To put it on your iPod all you have to do is connect it to your computer as always and it'll also automatically put it on there for ya.

Kambodia, you insensitive clod. English is my third language. In fact, I can scarcely spell my own country correctly.

Excellent #8 fellas!
I love the solo Jane Queen of Love... if I had one complaint about Honeycomb, which, though not my favourite FB record, I can't put down at the moment - my only complaint woudl be that the songs that i've heard fromm that album as solo accoustic I prefer that way..! 'Sunday Sunny...', 'Today I burn', classic songs, and to my mind, better with less production. Not that there is anything wrong with the Honeycomb production technically, it's just not so much my cup of tea...
The tri-progression (or whatever) was a cool idea - allround great episode...
And looking forward to No9...

Rent Jacques Tati's "Playtime" immediately. A beautiful and understated comedy. In some ways, maybe the inspiration for Peter Sellers' "The Party."

PC #8 = great stuff again guys! The Evolution of Jane ~ very good!
With all these acoustic demos sitting around collecting dust: Jane The Queen, St Francis DD, etc. I hope they all get released one day on CD or a box-set. They are fantastic versions that most FB fans would really love & appreciate.

It was kind of interesting to hear the Catholics demo and notice some organ that I otherwise didn't realize was in the song. And I definitely plan to look into Jacques, though I have to finish my Hitchcock collection first. Thanks for the recommendation.

Listened to all the podcasts at once yesterday.
Boy, you do talk a lot, don't you?
That was lots of fun nonetheless.

Nice work guys on PC 9. Coastline is brilliant!
I didn't know you were collating an "intro to FB best of" ~ I've tried several times to write down my favourite 10 FB tracks.. impossible. Even 20 is tough.
Anyway, looking fwd to No.10 & FMRM FINALLY!!! Cheers.

Thanks, '65, here's the thread: http://forum.frankblack.net/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=15853 It wouldn't be my personal best of, of course, but it's about as unbiased an intro as we could've hoped for.
And Denis, you think we talked too much on other podcasts, this one is madness. I had to cut out whole conversations and it STILL ended up an hour and twenty. Though I suppose 13 songs at 4 mins each plus a 5 minute commercial and a 1 minute intro gives about a 3:1 ratio.

Once more my afternoon of surfing was abated by the arrival of the FB.net podcast.
Really appreciate the amount of time that must go into doing this. And every two weeks..?!
You've made a rod for your own back!
Agree with 1965, and acoustic demo album, or even a newly recorded Acoustic album would be excellent. (though I reckon Frank has too many ideas of things he wants to do before he resorts to rerecording old songs in acoustic form)
Anyway, thanks again fellas.
