sorry haven't posted the pics... i have been working 10-14 hr days and 8 hr days on the weekend :(
but there are some really cool updates in case you haven't checked em out yet.
have you guys seen this??? So cool and creative. You know what's really cool is that if you open up all the windows and play them all at the same time it sounds REALLY cool. Is anyone going to email them? Anyway Grand Duchy Rocks!!

Black Francissy playing with Pixies this summer; also there are USA showbiz for GRAND DUCHY; and Blackster is making solo showbiz times on Cape Cod, and in Maryland, the Pittsburgh, Kansas City, and many more! We have the video contest clip for WHEN THEY COME TO MURDER ME. GRAND DUCHY is recording sounds for the extra track for the SEEING STARS single. Have you seen these these? |

I don't understand what this means, they are releasing footage of the Nijmegen precore?
If so there is a good chance I might be in it.

Anyone have problems with this site?
I joined a few days ago, and today I posted a thread. I came back to find it had been removed and my account deleted. So I rejoined and posted it again, only to have everything deleted again?
Problem with the site, or crazy mods?
There was a load of porn spam posted recently, I hope they don't think I had something to do with it.

Hi pot, I haven't had a problem lately, but there was a lot of spam there for awhile. Maybe they just thought you were a spammer. I would just re apply and repost. My old account was deleted a while ago and I just re applied and it worked.
Anyway, has anyone seen the great interview that Crackerdamus101 posted? I just got done watching the whole thing. It's my favorite interview that I have seen to date of the Duke and Duchess. Very interesting and genuine. I learned a lot and really thought he asked some good questions.

Right click it in itunes. Pick create mp3 version. Then you can delete the AIFF if you wanna. It's the live from Belfort France version that's been posted before but not in AIFF quality.

::Report from Golem front by M. Lemhouse (Golem book designer)::
The Golem book is being conjured as we speak. The amulet is being placed upon it's breast and it will be ready for mass consumption for the masses post haste. This "box set" will be in a book format with CD's included. 2 live performance Cd's of the live score, 2 Cd's of the studio recording and a DVD with the film score synced up to the original film. The book will include photographs of sheet music that was hand cut and pasted in with studio and live performance shots spread throughout totaling over 50 pages. The first page will be a hand pressed (from an 1860's letter press) title page that will note a number between 1 and 500 with Black Francis's autograph. Each book will be a one of a kind. ::That is all::

Good news for them, but not so good news for those of us who were planning to brave the festival crowd and catch the 9/19 GD show at Dante's. Ah, well. Another time, perhaps.
(As of right now, Grand Duchy is still listed as the headliner on the Dante's site and the MusicFestNW site, but obviously bf.net is closer to the source...) |

There is still a mailing list (got an email this week, actually...), but i don't know how cool any mailing list can really be. The first one gave us "Ghost Coming" so i guess it is pretty cool.
