This place is desolate and eerie lately. Like the airport in Langoliers - like time past it by, but just barely. I've been busy inventing inventions. None of them work though.

....haven't listened to fb much over the last year. but i did put on the catholics for a workout the other day. oh my goodness!

| I became a vegetarian about a half a year ago. Still eat dairy but plan on eventually phasing that out. Slipped a bit and ate some meat a few days ago; wasn't worth it. Viewing it as a process but so far (recent slip-up excepted) it's been a fairly easy transition. |

As to the original post, where did everyone go, I wonder the same thing every time I go over to blackfrancis.net. What's up with the store? Where are they relocating to, Seti Alpha V? All this debate and speculation about the Catholics re-release and the store goes and disappears for two months. I check it all the time to try to get a final answer on the alphabetical/chronological debate. BTW... anyone know when that's supposed to come out?

Funny story, I lost my login and password. Actually, I seem to remember the forum was having a bunch of problems and my password just didn't work anymore. I'm not sure. That was 5 years ago.
I tried to come back once in a while, but I could no longer remember my password, or even my user name. I tried searching for my own posts with random words I vaguely remembered I had written, but the Search feature in this forum never worked for me, ever. The words were too random for Google.
Today I found my user name and tried an old password I know I used somewhere else years ago and bam! I'm in.
You have no idea who I am. I just posted a dozen times here in 2007 then I disappeared. I'm still a loyal Frank Black fan, though. Or whatever he is calling himself these days.

| I didn't realise there was a FB&TC group. I know there's a big Pixies / FBF group which I enjoyed at first but then there was too much lovey dovey stuff between members. I prefer the forum format being honest. |

I've put out a call to arms on the Frank Black and the Catholics FB chat thing, to see if any of the old members fancy coming back and reliving the glory years of this place. Lets see if it works. This is where it all started so many moons ago. I have very fine memories of this place...

i was on the facebook fb/bf/pixies group the other day and someone was commenting on how great the frankblack.net podcasts are!! yes they are! i commented that dean and brian opened up the world of podcasts to me! and chatting it up with strangers on the internet!

Thanks Bru! I'm glad for all the positive impacts that I think this site has had. I've renewed the domain for the next couple years but then I honestly don't know what the future will hold for this place.
