I see Bone Machine in the off licence near me all the time but I haven't plumped for it as yet. (Could well be a Tom Waits reference..)

I had an amazing 'white stout' the other day - a stout that pours like a pale ale but tastes like coffee. Could see such a beer being called Into The White.

Good suggestions all.

Head Carrier is an obvious beer sounding song.

If you have too much, it becomes so hard to make things out and you get a headache, etc. etc. Start suffering, maybe end up with amnesia. Ok, I'll stop.

Big Red, there's a good one. Next time I make a red ale that's the name for it. Any other homebrewers here?

I like Hoppacultcha, Caribrew, Big Red, and Ten Percenter, though the last two would pass over the heads of 99.9999% of people.

My take:
The Big Hurt (something big and strong. An Imperial Stout perhaps, or better something that didn't taste strong but was.
A Beer'll Do Ya (a boring lager)
Everything is Beer (see above)
Southbound Bevy (see above)
Steak 'n Sabre 'n Beer (something that goes with Steak...Pale Ale perhaps)
Suffering (see them top suggestion)
When Will Hoppiness Find Me Again? (IIPA)

And so many others......

Think it's time to crack a brew...

all i can say, thank god for polio! brian

Some truly inspired names! If I were to pick favourites:

Old Black Dawning - Bedbug
Big Red - Discoking
Solid Gold - Discoking
Southbound Bevvy - Discoking
Ten Percenter - Maharal
Blast Off - Maharal
Bock A My Soul - Maharal
Caribrew - Bedbug
I've Seen Your Pitcher - Stevio10
Um Chagga Lager - sdon
Hoppacultcha - Maharal
Classic Mash - Maharal
Johnny Barleywine - Maharal
Can I Get a Witbier - Maharal

I also think I'd have a beer, to Benji's point, called Sabre, so you could order a Steak & Sabre. I have nothing original of my own, just accolades for you all.

I'm bottling a Quince Saison tomorrow - I wish I could find a "frank" name that would match it, but nothing pops out to me from the many superb possibilities mentioned here.
It is a 9% monster so maybe something related to that.
Hmm, first world problems.
