See you in St. Paul! Interesting venue too... haven't been to that one before. |

Watched a bit of that because someone on the Facebook group was live streaming it. They seemed on decent form - Winterlong was different than usual and Into the White was pretty good. |

no oona or baal's back, unfortunately, but they totally killed it. what a show!
setlist doesn't look final yet, but there was nothing from indie cindy. https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/pixies/2017/grote-kaai-lokeren-belgium-be5c192.html
and the openers were brutal. first "breather" was u-mass. and i guess that means something, if u-mass is considered a breather: Gouge Away Dead Wave of Mutilation Broken Face Crackity Jones Isla de Encanta U-Mass
so glad i went. made up for the mixed feelings after the antwerp gig last year.

I've noticed "Here Comes Your Man" has sort of fallen out of the rotation. Anyone else notice that? |

not really. they're still playing it often. i have the impression it's more on the setlist than off.
but i guess it's one of the songs they used to always play, if i'm not mistaken. so things have definitely changed.

Saw them last night, they played Here Comes Your Man and was on the set list the night before.
No Indie Cindy songs last night and only Magdalena the night before. They seem to be moving away from the Indie Cindy stuff unfortunately.
Got to experience Um Chagga Lagga live for the first time, highlight of the show for me, BF was really going for it.

I guess if IC is the Bossanova of 2.0 it makes sense for them to neglect playing it live |

Apparently, the fact that Joey has almost completely reconfigured his live guitar rig and ditched most of the pedals and effects that he used to create some of the tones on IC, I think the chances of hearing most of those tunes are now virtually nil, unless and until he decides to redo his rig again...

UCL is still the highlight of HC for me and more of the tempo and direction Id like them to go. |
