For those of you that caught the previous thread.
They are all alive and doing extremely well at this point. The cages are real nice. I currently have three cages set up (working on one more) . They are all fully planted and there is have an automatic rain system set up (like in the produce section of the supermarket.). Hibiscus are just starting to flower in the cages. It's a big ass set up, but it looks pretty nice actually. They are all eating like pigs and seem to be adapting well. The big male's lip has healed well. You can't see it in any of these pictures but he actually has a chunk of his lip missing. He's fine though. It doesn't seem to bother him at all (anymore). I took them to the vet and the most important thing they did was give them a fecal test for parasites. When they are real stressed out, the parasites they naturally aquire in the wild that normally aren't a problem can take over and kill them. They weren't bad at all, which is actually rare for wild caught. She gave them all parasite med's whilke there and another dose that I gave them ten days later. I have the two females together in one cage, which they say you can sometimes do with this breed but they are getting bitchy with each other. I have another cage that I'm going to start getting together tomorrow. Here's some pictures. I'll take some updated pictures of the cages and post them shortly.

KoK, I love the chameleons. What kind/where were they from again? I guess I just feel sad for them, as they were removed from the wild. I get depressed when I go to the zoo or a pet store as well.
Continued good luck with your creatures. How is your new home by the way?
You buttered your bread, now lie in it. |

Could you please post pics of your chameleons in front of various coloured backgrounds? They're always green in your pictures.

Well, they are pretty much always green unless they're upset. As you can see, Sammy here is pretty P.O.'d because his girlfriend he's met online (after three month's of chatting) still hasn't sent him a full body shot yet. She has a pretty nice face though.

Hehe nice.
Can you post pics of your chameleleons with clothes? I've never seen any. I'ld appreciate the two females in underwear...
I like pets disguised in humans.

Hehe... maybe she'll get him some bling-bling when she comes to visit. I am glad you posted this because I have actually thought of you twice when I've been at the post office mailing off the Pixies Spin mag to forum members....people were talking to the post office workers about stuff that was there late... I just thought about well what if they were chameleon's that were lost in a box some where... anyway I am glad they are all doing fine. |
