Mor-i-see, emphasis on the Mor. Or just Moz.
I saw the Morrissey interview with Jonathan Ross on the BBC, and he came across slightly petulant, like he didn't have to be there but was condescending to our level just to give the masses the pleasure. Its not like he particularly needs alot of publicity like that - he has a pretty rabid (and large) fanbase, after all.
It could be that he's just shy, I guess. He hides it in an annoying way is all.
So, I finally got my X-Wing |

hmm, thanks Cheeseman, but that could be either of the two I described . . .or tried to describe. It's late and I'm tired and probably didn't make any sense.

Hmm. 'Mor' as in Morientes. 'i' as in pig. 'ssey' as in see
Mor-i-see...
Think of the something thats like Morris: it's not Morris, but its Morris-y.

I wonder how Charles would feel if he knew that Morrissey is getting trashed on his (Charles') site.
I still believe in the excellent joy of the Frank |

I've heard that Morrissey reads his music press religiously. He's probably reading this thread right now!

Well, whether or not anyone cares here is what he played:
First of The Gang to Die Bigmouth Strikes Again November Spawned A Monster I Like You Such A Little Thing Makes Such A Big Difference The World Is Full of Crashing Bores Last Night I Dreamt That Somebody Loved Me How Can Anybody Possibly Know How I Feel? Don't Make Fun of Daddy's Voice Subway Train into Everyday Is Like Sunday Let Me Kiss You How Soon Is Now? Now My Heart Is Full Irish Blood, English Heart The More You Ignore Me, The Closer I Get You Know I Couldn't Last
There Is A Light That Never Goes Out (encore)
His set is very cool. Big block letters which spell out MORRISSEY (they are white with red lights on them) and a sparkly curtain behind that. It is pretty bare, but also flashy at the same time.
Anyway, he was awesome. I have a musical hangover! Oh, and I cried twice, if anyone is keeping track.

I'd have liked to have heard the Smiths songs, so I'll give you that at least. Hope you enjoyed it - I'm not really such a downer...

danger of going on-topic... but i think frank comes across really well in interviews, sometimes he messes about and is quite childish, but generally he seems very honest and down to earth, and funny!

Whereas Kim Deal sounds mopey and self-pitying at best, IMHO.

How did I not spot this at the time?
I am going to find you Kathryn. I am going to find you and I am going to kill you.
I'd walk her everyday, into a shady place

Montreal would probably be a good place to start looking.

I'd say so.
Actually is she there yet?
I really want to go there anyway, so this way I can mix business with pleasure.

I'll be there most of this week, Homers, getting immigration paperwork in order. I do have one errand to run tomorrow in the States: getting a frame for this beautiful b+w photo of your Kim (from last year's Reading show). I'm thinking it'll look nice in the guest bedroom in Montreal. That way you can sleep with Kim when you visit my future Canadian home.
I got some heaven in my head
