Well, I was able to get those FB albums onto an mp3 disc. I used dBpowerAMP then Nero. Thanks guys. Now I need to find out how I can capture a still frame from a wmv file. None of the programs I've tried that can do that will open a wmv file. This was the more important of my 2 requests, hence the edited re-posting. Thanks for putting up with me.

If you still need help, I use dBpowerAMP Music Converter and Adobe Premiere. Premiere isn't free, but... it's easy to "free" it, do you know what I mean?  .

ah, I do know what you mean:) thanks guys. I'm busy now, but hopefully can try those programs tomorrow. I was hoping to find a program that would convert and burn in one go so as to save me some time. Probably no such program though.
Anyone know about grabbing still?

power DVD captures still frames from dvd movies (actually almost all players have this function). to capture from divx use bsb player (freeware)
 join the cult of errol\and you can have a beer\without having to quit smoking
