Isn't Sloy's Pop the best song to cover ever?

Never tried. I don't know if any could stand me singing this then my godzilla song.

Like already said , I've got all their albums signed, I've seen them twice and got my fetish Sloy T-shirt : (that's Armand on the pic)

My old page about sloy http://perso.wanadoo.fr/remi.gliozzo/sloy.htm

Damn MTV

Score one point for America for ignoring A-ha. We have plenty of one hit wonders still roaming around the US. In LA it seems like you can see Flock of Seagulls or Missing Persons any weekend.

Hey Kathryn, ive been buisy with school and life in general, c uve been posting alot :)

Darwin, A-ha is not a one hit wonder. Its just that Take on me was such a mega hit that they couldnt ever acheive the same fortunes. My point is that America enjoys mega hits and ignores anything which isnt on MTV constantly. And im talking about Pop culture, not the people who actually search for good music.

It's pretty simple. In my opinion they sucked and it's no loss that Americans largely ignored them. There was much better music in the 80s than Aha (ie REM, Replacements, Husker Du, Minutemen, ect.).

dont you think U2s 'Beautiful Day' rips this song off a little..the bit where Bono yells..."touh me, take me to the blah blah blah....release me....the sun always shines on Tv"?

there influence will always be around.
A-ha = longevity

Yes I do, I thought that when I first heard it. Glad someone else noticed

Help me! He keeps making me post!
