Have you noticed the back cover credits 'Black Francis, David Lovering, Mrs. John Murphy, Joey Santiago, Jean Walsh' for the lyrics?...

and I think it was also corrected on the last Best Of - I think Death to the Pixies credits it incorrectly...

So Charles' future (now past) wife, Speedy Marie, helped pen "Levitate Me". I never made the connection. Maybe she said, "Hey Charles, you should throw in one of those funny Larry Norman lines you're always quoting, like 'C'mon pilgrim, you know he loves you.'" Hmm . . .
