Anyone read that book? By Will Self? I'm reading it at the moment and it's really fucking with my mind. If you've read it don't tell me how it ends, as I'm close! But it's really confusing me, I'm seeing everyone as apes, everyone has ape like behaviour... I think that's the point of the book, that we like to think of ourselves as mightier than thou, clean, civilised etc etc... then you see this world of apes and think, how disgusting, but as the book moves on, you kind of see that it's not too different to our world and in fact we seem disgusting to them from their point of view. you're all disgusting. fucking humans.

no, it's on my bookshelf but I had a will self overload recently, started my idea of fun and my brain went POP, had to regress back to good old Bukowski. keeping the level nice and low, let me know if it's any good
the room smelled like cupids gym

well just finished it now, have to say, kinda felt let down by the end, and yeah, it was very hard to get into. but i'm glad i read it, makes you think quite a lot about, well, chimpity/humanity...
