an mtv news article makes mention of Honeycomb as being an accoustic album due out later this year. Check out this link:

The new Camper Van Beethoven album comes out on October 12th, as well. So I'm doubly excited! I really hope Honeycomb is out this year yet. It may be a good move with all the Pixies stuff going on now. They've said they won't be heading into the studio anytime soon, so it'd be a good opportunity to release Honeycomb while people are worked up over new material. Maybe?

yes, but mtv is a source that is not 100% up to date sometimes or 100% well informed

That's usually a give-in with MTV. They usually don't seem to know the difference between factoids and facts.

Occasionally they play snipits of current pop hits while seguing between scenes in the latest reality tv shows they quickly threw together to compete against the other crappy reality tv shows, all of whom are petrified by the thought of actually writing a script, wondering how they ever got by before the days of reality tv. Bitter? No.
