It's rare I start a thread all about me, in fact I doubt I ever have, so whilst I'm in this joyous mood...
I GOT A JOB!!!!! HURRAAAAAAAAHHHHHH! A PROPER JOB!!!!!!
So I'm happy and I'm a city slicker finally. Well, on the ladder to being one!
We shall be drinking champagne tonight! (from my graduation, we never got around to drinking it)
Thanks guys and girls, I could never have done it without you. Especially you Homers, and your shiny head, it's an inspiration to us all! 
And it's hard to be a human being, and it's harder as anything else, and I'm lonesome when you're around, and I'm never lonesome when I'm by myself, and I miss you when you're around. |

and i *wish* i was a ninja turtle!
no it's a job for a major world-wide banking organisation, nothing major at the moment, just administration type stuff i think, but it's a regular wage and it's a permanent job, both a first for me, so i'm very happy.  
And it's hard to be a human being, and it's harder as anything else, and I'm lonesome when you're around, and I'm never lonesome when I'm by myself, and I miss you when you're around. |

Let me tell you something friend, you do not want to be a ninja turtle. A couple of months ago my friends and I saw a sign that said, "Sunday brunch with a Ninja Turtle." So we went. Out comes this sluggish kid shuffling toward our table. I swear, when he saw how old we were, he just slumped. For some reason my friend asked him to eat with us and he just sort of edged away saying, "uh . . . cowabunga." It should have been fun, but it was just really sad and awkward.

'ninja' was decided to be too violent IIRC, didn't want millions of kids running about pretending to be ninjas... so it changed to heroes. we always had the films in proper ninja form, it was just the cartoon series that used 'hero'. confusing stuff, but we all knew they were called ninjas really.

i'm just working for barclays doing customer service admin type stuff as part of a team, i'm quite excited. it's in the centre of town so no need to move and lots to do during my lunch breaks! huraah!

funny occurence of incidences - you get a job, and i have just lost mine! haha.
I always pictured you as a ninja turtle, I think it would really suit you!!
Your working at barclays? any way you can hack in to the system and clear my debts!?!?!?

I think that this "hero turtle" stuff is all about political manipulation. They want kids to be good soldiers later and get slaughtered in the name of the Queen.

hehe, no i only just graduated! finished in june, worked at AQA checking exam papers and stuff all summer, finished a week ago, it was only a temp job...
