yes by a band named Angst they inspired frank a lot (so he says) he even tried to buy the rights to their songs so he could bring it out on cd (SST wouldn't do that, said frank) this all comes from a dutch interview I read
the song is recorded by the catholics in the DW-era and is listed on the tracklist of one of the b-sides compilations frank anounced here
"I joined the Cult of Serge/'Cause he invented indierock before Frank did"
what what what? I just came back from Mars. What B-side compilation? Oddballs 2?
[edit] Oh wait i found it. Jesus Christ I never ventured before in part of the forum. If only the news page would be used to keep us up to date with the fuckin news.
That song is called "Some Things I Can't Get Used To" by Angst. I think it's on the "Mending Wall" LP, though I could be wrong (haven't heard it for ages). Good band from San Francisco. I saw them play a few times.
BLT - I dunno. Their 12" on Happy Squid wasn't all that great, but Mending Wall and Lite Life are fucking classics, Mystery Spot is pretty good, and Cry for Happy is pretty bleh (it has a really good instrumental on it that kind of sounds like Tossed).
