So in the spirit of stealing music, I've been downloading a bunch of albums via bit torrent, but I've pretty much exhausted what I was looking for from Sharing the Groove and Suprnova. Anyone else have good sites for bit torrent?

Did you have a distant cousin "lock you in the cupboard under the stairs", son of great aunt "smells of piss" and great uncle "sit on my knee you remind me of my wife when she was younger" though?

Anyway, you're still a cheeky young rapscallion mister

Ahem....Back to the original topic, perhaps?.....

Yes, bt.easytree.org is a good site. I went through the exact same thing: Went through everything I wanted on suprnova and sharingthegroove. I'm anxious to get sharingthegroove back, though, see what's changed and stuff. The site's been down for a while because it's updating. That should be interesting.

Also be sure to check suprnova everyday.

Which client do you use for BT? I'm an Azureus guy, myself. http://azureus.sourceforge.net/

Hope your musical pillaging is going well, hehehe.

This stg thing is bugging the hell out of me! And the updates they've already done do nothing but make it more confusing. I for one never saw anything wrong with the way it used to be.

*sigh* Yes, I'm the bad guy. I know. It's been pretty obvious for a while...

I know Sir Rockabye from a few IRC chats and he's a good guy. He doesn't post here much but when he does he usually has something good to say or an interesting question that could help a lot of people out (Much like the question in this thread. I had totally forgotten about easytree until NimrodsSon mentioned it. It's a pretty great site.) It just seems like almost every serious thread has to be turned into a comedy routine. I'm saying that in a very general way, too, so don't take that personally.

To try to get this thing back on the tracks:

www.zeropaid.com is a pretty good website all about file-sharing, Sir Rockabye. Probably some things to learn there.

You can get into StG? There's a "Database Error" whenever I try to enter. Maybe it's my browser or something...

So what'd they "update"?

It's been going on and off back and forth for the past several days. It looks pretty much the same as before with just a few more features that do absolutely nothing but make it more confusing.

Thanks for all the information guys. I've downloaded a couple of Eels albums and a Futureheads disc. Pretty good stuff, comes with my recomendation.

Crouton, what you said means a lot to a guy like me. I appreciate it.

Edit: Oh, and as far as clients go, I use TorrentStorm. I dunno why. Gets the job done.
