Hi FB Forumers!
These days I suddenly had a vision (or dream), and in this vision there is no place for television. This is the concept (maybe my vision is just a stupid fantasy, still like to share it with all of you anyway):
What about one or two weeks of camping with Frank Black in the Massif Central in France. Of course not an ordinary camping municipal, but some secret hidden place in the middle of forest, mountains, nature. It`s already great that Frank writes to us on the forum, now he will even go on camping with us and he will bring his guitar with him. Wouldn`t that be great!
The only ones that are allowed to be over there are “hard-core” FBforum participants. (Actually I am not a hard-core forum participant, but I will do the organization, so I`ll be there, he, he,he)
Picture yourself the following: We are all camping out there in the rough nature of the Massif Central, surrounded by beautiful forests, torrents, meadows, waterfalls, flowers you name it, filled with wild animals such as wild pigs, birds, rendeirs, whatever… In the night we`ll have a great open camp fire which reaches up to 5 meter high. We just had a great French meal on the fire and barbeque with the whole group. Then Frank takes his guitar and starts to play. Every night more songs and amazing stories, anecdotes. The man definitely likes to talk with us and share all kind of stories, songs, ideas, fantasies whatever. Then we all drink beer and wine and sing aloud you know. In the daytime we just do random talking about everything we always wanted to talk about to eachother and to Frank of course. We`ll some activities such as some sports (mountainbiking and kayaking in La Drome) and games or we visit some cities in the region, like Clermont Ferrand. One night during this holiday all the catholics suddenly show up and give a surprise concert, well maybe even one night the pixies even show up, anyway…
I suggest not to go in the mid summer, because of the extreme temperatures out there, or do you think Frank easily stands 40 degree celcius?
Anyone got more suggestions?

Actually what you described looks pretty much like the Secret Forum's Picnics. You only forgot one thing - the part when beautiful whores suck our cocks after the dinner.

Does Frank like Rainier beer? We better bring some of that too, just in case.

Fishing has been done, so it's not that far removed. Monsieur, do you remember when Frank crept up behind Rich and tried to push him in the river?
Good times.

I must admit, this was all part of my own twisted "Pixies Math/Logic":
If Frank is not a dancing bear, then he must be a drinking bear, else we won't get to sing "99 bottles of beer on the wall" with him 'round the campfire.
Also, if Frank is the "wrong crowd", then I don't wanna be right!
$n=pop||99;sub b{"$n bottle@{[$n!=1&&s=>]} of beer"}print$b=b,$w=' on the wall' ,", $b!\nTake one down, pass it around,\n",b($n--),"$w!\n\n"while$n
(not my code -I barely know perl at all. code attributed to "chipmunk": http://perlmonks.thepen.com/43619.html)

set k of integer; write "how many beers on the wall, Frank?";k; if k=>99 then for i :=1 to k write "you can do it" else write "Frank you're a pussy"; end.

Well I can see there is enough motivation for this camping-thing.
I`ll take care of all the food, drink, good looking whores (are they easy to find in the Massif Central region? and are they willing to come to some far away campground deep in the forests of the MC?, ha, ha, ha), beer, fishing gears, bicycles, wood, acoustic guistars, wine, BBQ meat, and an airconditioned tent for Frank. Man.. I definitely need a huge Géant or Leclerq Supermarché around there for all the supplies! |

from what I understand grandma does not like feather beds, she does like air beds though, which is way more suitable for cmping really
