hey, kim deal here. Charles has advised me to check this site out so i have! i wonder if, as this a site about Charles that you guys hate me? ha ha. I thought i'd go to the pixies bit so maybe i'd get a bit less abuse. fingers crossed. So - what do you guys think about the pixies re-union??

It doesn't matter if you are the real Kim Deal or not. I love these threads.
Two questions for Kim:
- Who decided to put this annoying effect at the beggining of "Off you"? It fucks up one of the sexiest songs ever.
- Tell Charles about giving you a screaming song (An alternative "In Heaven" version?). You can't beat him in that issue (nobody can do it), but you have an excellent screaming voice. "Oh" and "Tipp City" make me shiver.

What kind of effect are you talking about, whore? (I mean Whore). The buzz right after the "I'm on it" line? I think it's awesome. I don't hear anything wrong in this gemm. Actually I'm listening to it right now (strange coincidence) and it makes me shiver like a girlie. God, that song is even greater than Mad Lucas (the song, not the FB.net member)

I love that feedback on Off You. Keep it in. Why don't you see if you could do a Breeders song. That would great, The Pixies could do one Breeders song, one Martini's song, one FB solo/ or C's song and they the other 30 they do per show could be all Pixies stuff. I think that would add a great little twist to it.

Yes, that point. Well, to be honest Denis (and Kim), I have listened it on my computer right now and it sounds quite well. I supose that I didn't like it 'cause when I play it on my car, these buzzin' modulations make my window glasses shake. Sorry for my previous words.
I love that song. The best Breeders song ever. It's like, you know, having Kim Deal whispering close to your ear. A dream come true.

I have doubts with this thread. They are big.
In general though, pixies re-union I think is a great and a good good thing. It made me smile. Bigly. From ear to ear. Happy days...

I still don´t know if this is the "real" Kim, but just have to say that I admire you a lot as I admire the rest of the band.
How could we hate you ?
About the reunion, for me it was like a dream come true! I thought I would never have the oppurtunity to see the PIXIES again and I did!
