How can we have a thread about Homonyms, Homophones and Homographs without starting one about Palindromes?! So I have come to the rescue.
Just in case you don't know what it is, (please don't tell if you don't), it's spelled the same forwards or backwards...

I always thought a Palindrome was a big nasty creature like a Suruasaurus.

I'm going to the Three Stooges' forum for the onomatopoeia topic.

One I thought up myself: "Wontons? Not now!"

Weird Al's newest album has a song made up entirely of palindromes. One of my favorites is "Lisa Bonet ate no basil."

The Weird Al song is called "Bob," and is a Bob Dylan style parody. I don't think Al invented any of the palindromes contained in the song, but he does arrange them into rhyming verses.

And yes, Shine, I heard the alternate version of "I Palindrome I." It's absolutely nothing like the song on Apollo 18. My guess would be that the band had been throwing around that title, but weren't quite sure what to do with it.
