Hello everyone. Although it's already been mentioned in the forum, I wanted to personally announce that my band, The Bennies, are opening five shows for the Pixies. They are:
11/30: Amherst, MA at the Mullins Center
12/4 & 12/5: Camden, NJ at the Tweeter Center
12/7 & 12/8: Washington D.C. at Constitution Hall
As some of you may remember, I've been hanging out on fb message boards since the days of imusic and abstract plain, way before I met the great CMKT4. It was at the plain where I started emailing with him (he used to post there) and I gave him the idea to let us open for the catholics. So it blows my mind to be able to post a message that we are opening for the Pixies. It's an unbelievable honor. If you want to come see my band before November, here are some upcoming shows:
August 20: Galapagos Art Space in Brooklyn, NY
August 23: Acme Underground in NYC
August 27: The Elevens in Northampton, MA
September 5: Sin-'E in NYC
October 23: Pianos in NYC

Many congrats, Jeremy - you must be incredibly excited. Incidentally, Fantasmata sounds great!
