so then, anything bad happen to anyone yet? our cold water tap stopped working last night, but it's fine now, so that's okay... and we're going for a meal later, just me and my gf, hopefully that will be nice. but so far so good!

I woke up with a horrible amount of dread at the day that is to follow. Im supposed to be going out with friends tonight but I just know something bad is going to happen. Having said that, if my ex is out something bad always happens. But it will be 10 fold cos its the 13th!!!! AGH!

lol! it sounds awful. at least you *know* what the bad thing is that's going to happen to you today, and you can walk out at any time during the 90 minutes of hell!

Well so far so good. My nan said that apparently 'jews are alright on black friday'...Because apparently 13 is supposed tp be lucky to jews. Im supposed to be jewish, so im all ok.

I've never been superstitious, and I'm still not, but I had a horrible day.
I got in an argument with my flatmate on the way to the station which resulted in going back to my house to close the freaking bathroom window, thus making me late for work. This was compounded by a horrendously delayed and sweaty tube journey.
I then got to work and discovered that I was going to get no work done all day due to having to man call centre hotlines insteado doing my work.
That took the entire day and was irritating as hell.
To top it all off, I wasted my entire lunch break chatting to Mel.

Is it just me, or does Friday the 13th not have the mystique that it used to? Maybe it's that I'm reaching early middle age now (35) and that stuff just isn't as exciting when you're older. Or maybe it's that the world is so shitty now (see: George Bush) that nothing that happens out of bad luck on Friday the 13th can compare to the ongoing shit that we endure.
