No, I subscibe to your theory of just visiting too often. It does seem as if the # of post's have dropped a bit recently. Although I can't say much, since I mostly just lurk. (makes me think of stalk but that at ain't right)
There have been a lot of new people in the last few months who add a lot and seem really nice/cool. I'd make a list in my head, but I hate lists and I'm tired..., in my head.

I really don't know about the numbers. Are you referring to any particular part of the forum? There do seem to be less on-topic threads, but then, what all is there to say that hasn't been said already? It's usually slower on weekends than weekdays, too.

i think a lot of people are either injured (knife accidents, babies punching them) or dealing with flesh-eating bacteria. it's been a tough month for the forum.
myself, i've been working like a biziatch. 12 and 14 hour days. haven't had time to grocery shop.
things should mellow out at some point though. at which time i will be launching a large scale assault of never-before-discussed topics. be prepared. |

Maybe it is just because the Pixies are taking a break so fewer people log on to check out what happened at the concerts.

Yeah I noticed that too. I have dropped off a little but not that much. I have been in the Pong room a bit 'cos I like Carolynanna's game. But yeah Bumble has really dropped off, maybe he finally found a life.
Not sure what Cheeseman or Mel's excuses are.
I think we just need a few really exciting topics to emerge. A new wave of super-topics to take the forum by storm.

i'm already working on that. i've been doing a lot of research (mostly nights) carefully crafting perfect forum topics.
